A typical session lasts about 1-2 hours, whether it’s a studio, beach, park, or venue. This duration allows ample time for setting up shots, outfit changes, and capturing a variety of poses and candid moments unique to each setting.
What locations do you recommend for outdoor family portraits?
We recommend private venues due to the privacy and tranquility they offer. We have a list of popular locations, such as local parks, beaches, urban settings, and our studio. We can also suggest locations based on your preferences and the look you want to achieve.
What should we wear for our family portrait session?
It’s best to coordinate colors but avoid matching exactly. Consider choosing a color palette and having each family member wear variations of those colors. Avoid busy patterns and large logos for a more timeless look. Jeans and white shirts are always a great option, and elegant outfits are also very well received.
How should we prepare our children for the photo session?
Ensure your children are well-rested and have had a meal or snack before the session. Bring along their favorite toys or comfort items to keep them relaxed and happy.
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our Outdoor or On-Location Family Photography session?
If the weather is unfavorable, we can reschedule the session at no additional cost. When rescheduling due to weather, please keep in mind that we will also need to reschedule makeup and hair appointments, as well as any venue reservations. This ensures that everything aligns perfectly for your special day.
What are the best times of day for outdoor family photography?
For outdoor sessions, it’s best to bring simple, easily changeable outfits. Many locations have restrooms or designated changing areas, but a pop-up changing tent can also be useful for quick changes.
Are there any additional fees for large groups?
For groups larger than the package includes, there may be an additional fee. The typical cost is $25 per person. Please contact us for details on accommodating larger groups.

Absolutely! Pets are an important part of the family, and we welcome them in both studio and outdoor sessions. Just let us know in advance so we can make any necessary arrangements.
How many outfits should we bring for the photo session?
First, check the number of outfits included in your package. For studio sessions, we recommend bringing 2-3 different outfits for variety. For outdoor sessions, 2-3 different outfits are usually sufficient due to the location change logistics, but you can bring an extra set if you wish.
When will we be able to see and choose our photos?
Delivery times can vary, after the session, we will provide you with a gallery the same day, within less than 24 business hours. After you send us the order via email, enlargements take 7 to 10 days, and albums take 15 to 20 days
Do you offer retouching services for the photos?
Yes, we offer professional retouching to enhance your photos, including blemish removal, color correction, and other adjustments to ensure you look your best. This service is free for all photos in your album and for enlargements and prints in your package.
