We encourage you to do your engagement session as soon as possible. The latest we suggest is at least 6-10 weeks prior to the wedding date due to the time necessary to post produce each image and complete your product order(s)
Wedding & Engagements Questions
We don’t limit the number of locations, so feel free to choose as many as you want! Be sure to discuss the timeline with us to make sure you allow enough time for each of your locations.
We do outdoor photography sessions, indoor shoots, we love to explore cities, go on hikes with you and can shoot everywhere you might come up with. The best places are where you feel most comfortable so you enjoy the session as much as possible. We love to talk about your ideas so just shoot us a message and we can get into the details.
Post-production for engagement sessions are completed 3-5 days after the date of the shoot.
We have shot in the darkest of dark venues and reception halls so no need to worry! If the situation allows, we will set up additional lighting to ensure we get focused pictures. Some chapels do not allow for flash photography; and for that reason, we shoot on camera’s with superb low-light performance and lenses with low apertures (check out our Portfolio)
Yes! We have a variety of finished album options and we keep up to date with our research and sampling of the latest trends and styles. Please contact the studio for more information on options and pricing.
Because most weddings occur on weekends, we typically do not shoot engagement sessions on weekends. If you can only do your engagement session on a weekend, we can tentatively schedule your engagement session on a weekend, however, if a wedding is scheduled for that weekend, later on, we will have to reschedule your engagement session. There will also be an additional charge for weekend engagement sessions because the few weekends we have free, we spend with our families. We also like to shoot on weekdays because locations are typically less crowded.
Anywhere. Don’t let distance cause you to hesitate one bit.
Sometimes yes, and sometimes no. Allow me to explain! I spent the last almost 15 years shooting weddings as a solo photographer, and have since added several extraordinarily talented associate photographers to the studio. They are wonderful documentary photographers, and great assets to the wedding day coverage when the day requires a second vantage point! Wedding day coverage always has an assistant who does light photography, but some packages have a second photographer as well. Elopements and engagements are all solo-photographer coverage by myself.
You can rest easy with the peace-of-mind that we have back up photographers on call for every event in case of emergency. In the last 15 Years as Photographer in USA. I never cancel an appointment!
We love children and pets, but make sure to tell your photographer up front about children and pets. Much like in show business, working with little ones and animals is tricky and time consuming. Especially if the child is younger, have a friend or relative on hand to help you while the time is off camera.
